Depending upon your User Account Control settings (UAC), you might be prompted whether or not you will allow the Locator installer to make changes to the computer (i.e. that the installer will be allowed to run with elevated permission).

Click "Yes" to continue.
Each bullet point below corresponds to an installer wizard page.
- Pre-installer Warnings
- Review and resolve any pre-installation warnings
- End-User License Agreement
- Read the End-User License Agreement.
- If you accept the terms, check the "I agree to the license terms and conditions" checkbox.
- The “Next” button will now be enabled.
- Click the “Next” button.
- Index and OCR Languages
- Select the languages for the index and OCR engines. The top language in the list is the default and fallback language
- Click Next

- Complete the Installation
- Click the “Launch Locator ” button to open up the Locator Management Console, or click the “Close” link to close the installation wizard. If you launch the Locator Management Console, the splash screen momentarily appears.
- Installing your License
- Within the Locator Management Console, on the "Add Locator License" page, enter your Customer ID and License Key that was provided to you by ayfie.
- Click "OK"
