| Setting Name | Description |

| Server | The database server .name (ServerName) or a named instance (ServerName\InstanceName) |
| Port | Default 1433. Use 0 if one uses a named instance for the field above. |
| Database | The name of the Episerver CMS database. |
| Use integrated security | Checked / Unchecked (see next item for details) |
| User Name | The username of a user with read access to the Episerver CMS database. If the user is an Active Directory user, then check off the Use integrated security option, If on the other hand the user is an SQL Authentication User, then leave the check box unchecked. |
| Password | The password of index user. |
| Connection timeout (in seconds) | Advanced options. Default 15. |
| Command timeout (in seconds) | Advanced options. Default 30. |
| Database Schema | The schema of the Episerver CMS database. Usually dbo. |
