The ViaWorks Locator Management Console is an application that allows administrators to manage the ViaWorks Locator configuration, control access, and manage indexing activities and schedules. It is installed as a part of the ViaWorks Locator Server installation and can only be run from the server desktop directly or by using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Only single instances are supported.

To start the Management Console, perform the following from the ViaWorks Locator Server:

  • Start > All Programs > VirtualWorks > ViaWorks Locator Management Console
