Limitations
- eDOCS DM connector has version 16.x with MS SQL database backend set as default. Connector upgrades will revert back to this version if you have configured version 10.x, 5.x or Oracle. See Upgrading the connector below and Prerequisites in Adding a New Connection.
- eDOCS DM connector is only supporting files residing on a Document Server using an UNC path.
- eDOCS DM 16 lookup security is only fully supported for 1 lookup metadata field. If more than 1 lookup metadata field the user will only get search hits if the same user or group token are has allow on all lookup metadata fields.

- eDOCS DM with Oracle backend requires 64-bit Oracle Data Access Components (ODAC) installed on the Locator servers.
- An index user with read access to the eDOCS DM database.
- An index user with read access to the eDOCS DM Document Server
