The ViaWorks ayfie connectors for File Server, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft SharePoint are installed with the ViaWorks the Locator Server installation. No additional installation steps are needed for these connectors.
The File Server connector is included with each of the ViaWorks Locator Server editions. The Exchange and SharePoint connectors are optional. Depending upon what licenses have been purchased, these connectors can be seen in the ViaWorks the Locator Management Console after installation.
For any other connector for which a license has been purchased, a separate connector installation will need to be run. ViaWorks ayfie Connector installers, in the Microsoft installation file format (MSI), are available for download in the Connector Feed tab in the Management Console
Simply run the appropriate installer file (e.g. "ViaWorks.Alfresco.msi" for the Alfresco Server connector) on the ViaWorks server. The connector will now be installed and you can proceed to "Configuring Data Connections"Connectors can be downloaded using the Connector Feed in the Locator management console. Note that this list also will show whether a new version of installed connector are available.
