It is important to know that changing the language setting in the web client search preferences, only changes the presentation of the user interface. It does not have any effect on the content of the data that has been indexed. By default, Locator supports indexing data that is in the English language. To support indexing data in a language other than English requires configuration changes made to the Locator server. This work needs to be performed by ayfie Professional Services, and done prior to establishing data connections and indexing data.
Please contact your sales representative if you would like ayfie Professional Services to modify your Locator server to support indexing data in a language other than English.
