The KFHaandbok Connector can index Microsoft Exchange Server versions 2010, 2013 and 2016 as long as the Exchange Server is joined to the same domain as the viaworks Server. The Exchange Connector can index data from Exchange Online within an Office 365 organization.

Limitations

• Shared Mailboxes are not supported.
• Delegation to an entire mailbox through the Exchange Admin Center and shared mailboxes are not supported.
  
• Full Public Folder Security is not implemented.
• Other Hosted Exchange Servers than Exchange Online is not supported. However, mailboxes in Hosted Exchange Servers can be indexed if certain conditions are met.9)

• If Commvault Archive is to be indexed a license for the Commvault Archive is required.

Users are authenticated via Active Directory.

Crawl Methods

Full Crawl: The Exchange KFHaandbok Connector supports scheduling periodic full scans of the source system.

Incremental Crawl: Not supported.

Push: The Exchange Connector supports push indexing from Exchange Server Mailboxes.

DocumentHandler

Required. Enables opening of items in Outlook.
