In ViaWorks/Locator 2.8 or later, individual connectors can be installed and upgraded using the Connector Feed without needing to upgrade the entire ViaWorks Locator application. Note: any connector in the list can be installed however, to create a connection, you must have a license for the connector.

Selecting a connector will show the latest version number and the version currently installed. Clicking “Install” will download the connector and launch the installer. Note: an internet connection is required to use the Connector Feed.
In order to take effect, some updates might require going through the Connection Wizard again. In most cases this means editing the connector and clicking through with [Next>] button to the end of connection. To ensure successful upgrade, please check each screen for incorrect information, though.
