Search - Jira
Note that a single token can be used as a source credential for both Jira and Confluence at the same time.
To view results from Jira based sources, you will be prompted for:
jirausernamejiraapitoken
The jirausername is the username you are using when logging in to Jira.
The jiraapitoken needs to be created. Note that this is not the same as your Jira password. To create an API token do the following:
Log in to your Atlassian account https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens .
Click Create API token.
From the dialog that appears, enter a recognizable Label for your token, set the expiry date and click Create.
Click Copy to clipboard, then paste the token to the
jiraapitokencredential field.
Note that tokens have a limited lifespan. Once your token expires, you will have to create a new one using the same process.
