Why can't I see a new data source that has been added by the Locator administrator?

If the Locator administrator has added a new data connection, users will not be able to see that source in their search results if they were logged in to Locator while the connection was added.  The user needs to simply logoff and logon again to Locator and the new data source will now be seen.  

A good practice by the Locator administrator is to restart IIS on the Locator server, by running "iisrest" from a command prompt, after adding a new connection if users have already begun using Locator.
