The ViaWorks Management Console is an application that allows administrators to manage the ViaWorks configuration, control access, and manage indexing activities and schedules. It is installed as a part of the ViaWorks Server installation and can only be run from the server desktop directly or by using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Only single instances are supported.
To start the Management Console, perform the following from the ViaWorks Server:
- Start > All Programs > VirtualWorks > ViaWorks Management Console
The Management Console is divided into four functional sections:
