The scheduling page allows you to manage when indexing will occur for each configured data connection.

Within the Management Console, navigate to "Connections >
Scheduling".

From the associated drop-down boxes, select the connector and the connection for which you wish to configure scheduling, and then click the "Schedule" link.  The Schedule window will appear.

From within the Schedule window, you can select from two different types of scheduling:
  1. Simple Scheduling
    • You can select from one of two different options:

      1. Scheduled Daily
        • From the drop-down boxes, select both the Start Time and the Stop Time for period you would like indexing to occur at the same time each day of the week.

        • Choose whether indexing should run continuously throughout the specified time period or if it should do a single pass.

      2. Continuous

        • Select this option if you wish to have indexing occur continuously throughout each day of the week.

  2.    Mixed Scheduling
  • Select this option if you wish to have indexing scheduled at different times for different days of the week.
  • For each day of the week, you can select non contiguous one hour increments, up to all 24 hours, to have indexing run.
  • Choose whether indexing should run continuously throughout the specified time period or if it should do a single pass.
Advanced settings: When set to continuous, specify the pause interval between indexing crawls. The default is 5 minutes.

You can also click on the "Bulk scheduling" link from the main Scheduling page to apply the same schedule for multiple connections at once.
