Open Text Content Server Connector: Trusted Referring Websites

When clicking on the document link from a search result, the viaworks user may receive the following error:

Your request originated from a website that Content Server identified as potentially unsafe.

Please contact the Administrator.

You may Log-out and try your request again. 

To resolve this problem, there is a setting that needs to be configured in the Open Text Content Server. Perform the following steps:  

1. Go to Admin index —> Configure security settings
2. Look for the field named "Trusted Referring Websites" and add all base URLs which are used to reach the viaworks server.  The following are examples:
   • http://viaworks
   • https://viaworks
   • http://192.168.1.19
   • https://192.168.1.19
   • http://viaworks.mydomain.com
   • https://viaworks.mydomain.com
