The ayfie Document Handler is a native ayfie utility used for opening search result links. It extends the functionality of the Locator search results page.
Single user Installer
- The single-user executable is to be installed by each Locator user.

Multi-user Installer
- To accommodate customer environments that restrict end users machine installation, the Document Handler Multi-user Installer is provided for System Administrators so that the Document Handler can be deployed centrally.
- You can obtain the latest version of the Document Handler multi-user installer from the ayfie Locator Clients section in the Online Help Center.
- If Locator is configured with SSL, using the multi-user installer is required. The SSL certificate shipped with the multi-user installer is subject for expiry. Please see Document Handler / Content Handler hotfix for expiring SSL certificate - FAQ (updated August 2022).
