To view available license information, open the Management Console and go to Operations -> License  

License Summary

This section displays the following:
  • Number of user licenses authorized and the total used
  • Maximum number of indexed documents authorized and total used

Licensed Capabilities

The Licensed Capabilities table will show the type, name and description for all connectors, converters, and functions from all licenses that have been added. 
Licenses

The Licenses table will list the Sales Order #, Date, Status, Type, and Expiration Date for each license that has been added.  Selecting a specific license from the table and clicking the "View Details" button will display more detailed information about the license.

Adding a License

To add a license, after obtaining the license file or license key from VirtualWorks, simply click on the "Add License" button.  

You can select from one of two options:
  • Add a license via the internet
    • You will need to enter your "Customer ID" and your "License Key"
    • ViaWorks will automatically obtain and populate the "Machine ID" field
  • Add a license using a license file obtained from VirtualWorks support
    • Select the license file, that you obtained from VirtualWorks, from your computer

Click "OK" to add the license.
