Supported Version

The connector supports all ServiceNow's version.

Limitations

The maximum number of records for the specific table is 10000(can be changed if requested).

Supported Data Types

The connector indexes the following data types:

  • Knowledge Base
    • Knowledge Base Category
    • Knowledge Base Article
    • Knowledge Base Question
  • Service Catalog
    • Service Catalog Category
    • Service Catalog Item
  • Request
    • Request Item
    • Request Task

Only knowledge articles, knowledge questions, service catalog items, requests, requests items and task requests and their documents are returned as search hits.
Knowledge bases, knowledge categories, service catalogs and service categories are indexed but are not searchable.

Crawl Methods

Full Crawl: The ServiceNow Connector supports scheduling periodic full scans of the source system.
Incremental Crawl: The ServiceNow connector supports ChangeSet functionality.

Custom Settings

Templates or other custom settings are not required.
