ViaWorks can index the text content from more than 450 file types.
However, to prevent unnecessary indexing, the default out-of-the-box configured set of file types for some of the sources are reduced.
The sources where this is the case are:
- Shared Network Drives (File Servers)
- SharePoint (including OneDrive for Business), and
- Exchange data connections

Note: This is the default for NEW data connections and does not affect existing data connections.
