Default File Types

ViaWorks can index the text content from more than 450 file types.
However, to prevent unnecessary indexing, the default out-of-the-box configured set of file types for some of the sources are reduced.

The sources where this is the case are:

Shared Network Drives (File Servers)
SharePoint (including OneDrive for Business), and
Exchange data connections

The default file types that will be indexed :

            .dotx

            .ods
            .odt
            .odp
            .pdf
            .pps
            .ppsm
            .ppsx
            .ppt
            .pptm
            .pptx
