License compatibility

If you are upgrading from a previous ViaWorks 2.x release, your ViaWorks 2.2.5026 license will continue to work.  If you are installing ViaWorks 2.2.5026 for the first time, or if you are upgrading from ViaWorks 1.5.x, you will be required to obtain a new license key from VirtualWorks.  Contact your VirtualWorks sales representative to obtain your license key.



New Installations

Download the ViaWorks Installation package, and run ViaWorks_2.2.5026.exe.  Use a valid License Code and follow instructions on the screen.

Upgrading from Prior Installation

You can upgrade to this release from a previous ViaWorks 2.x release.

You CANNOT upgrade to this release from ViaWorks 1.5.x or earlier.



Bug Fixes & Improvements

ViaWorks 2.2.5026 is a service release and contains a number of bug fixes and the following enhancements: 

  • "Date From" and "Date To" refiner for the ViaWorks Web Client

  • Added column totals and "Indexed" column to the Management Dashboard Repository List
