Use this tool to perform operations on indexes.
It is important to know the immediate impact to Locator users when changing which index Locator Web Client will use for search. Before using the "Activate" command to designate a different index as the primary index for search, make sure that index contains information to search and is fully indexed. After creating the index, use the "List" command to obtain the ID for the index. Next, use the "Run" command on the new index and allow the indexing cycle to complete. Then, once it is fully indexed, use the "Activate" command to allow for searching the new index. The tool is located in Program Files\ayfie\Locator\Tools.
