The Home Page

The home page consists of the search box (also referred to as the "search field") and widgets for Latest Updates, Upcoming Appointments, Labels, My Recently Accessed Files, My Most Accessed Files and My Favorites.  The search box contains a search button and a drop down list of available Search Scopes.  A few Search Scopes and a + Save as Scope link appear under the search bar for quick access. The Search Scopes under the search box can be changed in the Search Scope settings menu.  At the top right is a link for the settings menu. Click the icons to view the options. The user’s profile picture and name appear in the left column. 

• Latest Updates displays the most recently added or updated documents for each source. Clicking next to an item will display the preview panel. 

• Upcoming Appointments displays a calendar and list of the users upcoming meetings. 

• Labels displays your 10 most frequently tagged labels. 

• My Recently Accessed Files displays the last 10 documents opened or downloaded in Locator by the user.  

• My Most Accessed Files displays the 10 most accessed files in Locator by the user sorted by most accessed on top  

• My Favorites displays the list of documents marked as favorites by the user. Documents can be marked as a favorite by clicking the star icon on the document hit card. The homepage displays the first 10 favorites.
