Agent - Advanced Data Analysis

Agent can analyze spreadsheet data, create visualizations, and generate documents (such as reports and presentations) from the results.

• Interactive exploration – Ask follow‑up questions and run iterative analyses to investigate your data in more depth.

• Visualizations – Generate charts and graphs to represent your data.

• Document generation – Create documents directly from analyzed data, including presentations and reports.

This feature supports Excel spreadsheets (.xls, .xlsx) and CSV files (.csv)

1. Activate Data Analysis:

You can activate analysis by either:

• Typing the /analyze command into the input field or

• Selecting /analyze from the list of specialized actions.

2. Upload Files:

   • Click the paperclip icon in the chat message box to open the file‑upload dialog.

   • Select the Excel or CSV file you want to upload.

     • After upload, the file appears in the conversation and is available for analysis.

   • Uploaded files are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. To continue working with a file after that, upload it again.

3. Perform Analysis:

You can interact with your data in several ways:

• Regular analysis – Ask questions such as “Analyze sales trends in this dataset.” Agent processes the data and returns summaries and insights.

• Visualizations – Request visualizations, for example “Create a bar chart of sales by region.” Agent generates charts based on your data.

• Document generation – Ask Agent to create documents from the analysis, for example “Create a PowerPoint presentation from this sales data.” Agent generates a document with key findings and provides a download link. Document links are valid for 24 hours.

4. Data Analysis Responses

When Agent processes a data analysis request, the response indicates that the data analysis model was used. This helps you distinguish analysis outputs from regular conversational responses.

5. Iterative Analysis:

   • Ask follow-up questions to refine or extend your analysis.

   • Ask clarifying questions, request alternative views of the data, adjust visualizations, or generate different document formats.

   • Agent maintains the context of the analysis session so you can iterate without starting over.

• Agent can process only one analysis session at a time. If you have multiple files or analysis tasks, run them sequentially. Running analyses in parallel browser tabs is not supported.

• Links to generated documents are valid for 24 hours. After this period, the documents are deleted.

• Uploaded files are deleted after 24 hours. After that, upload the files again to use them in a new analysis.

• If a response reaches the system’s complexity limit, Agent pauses and notifies you. You can ask it to continue. To reduce the chance of hitting this limit, focus each prompt on a single analysis (for example, ask for one chart per prompt).

• To initiate an analysis request, the prompt must be classified as Data Analysis by the Prompt Assistance feature. For reliable classification, include a sentence that clearly references analysis tasks such as statistical computations, trend identification, or extracting insights.

  • Example: “Analyze the provided sales data to identify trends and generate a summary of key performance metrics.”
