New Installations

Please contact sales@ayfie.com for the Supervisor installer. Run the installer on the Locator server. For help installing Supervisor, please see the Supervisor Installation Guide.

Note that a local Supervisor admin user will be created when installing Supervisor for the first time. 

Note: To benefit from the new Lingo entity extractions and GDPR fields, Locator content requires a full re-index.

Supervisor requires an installation of the Locator platform with connectors to the source systems you want to report on.

Supervisor 2.3 SR3 requires the latest Authority Service which is included in Locator 2.11 SR3 and above. The Active Directory authentication system needs to be configured upon installation/upgrade of Locator.

Limitations

  • Internet Explorer is not supported
  • The updated Lingo entity extractors included in Supervisor 2.3 SR3 will not trigger a re-index. If you upgrade from Supervisor 2.2 or below and want to populate data in the new Lingo fields, a re-index must be manually initiated.

Improvements

  • Improved the logging in the Supervisor services.
  • Added warning for non-supported browsers.
  • Improved Czech translations.
  • Improved translations for credit card number field.
  • Disabled the option to set a custom URL in the installer, as this is currently not supported.
  • Added a warning message that informs the user if one or more services are down. Note that this includes if the Document Handler is not installed on the client machine.

Bugs Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where user didn't get the correct operations for the fields when creating a report.
  • Fixed an issue where updating a schedule failed when not selecting days.
  • Fixed and issue where the username of logged in user wasn't displayed.
  • Fixed an issue where specifying the default dashboard didn't work.
  • Fixed an issue where opening links didn't work.
  • Fixed an issue where Swedish social security number was listed twice.
  • Fixed an issue where scheduled reports weren't listed as scheduled in the UI.
  • Fixed an issue with archiving of reports.
  • Fixed an issue with double login when the user was not using the canonical Supervisor URL
