New Installations
Please contact sales@ayfie.com for the Supervisor installer. Run the installer on the Locator server. For help installing Supervisor, please see the Supervisor Installation Guide.
Note that a local Supervisor admin user will be created when installing Supervisor for the first time.
Note: To benefit from the new Lingo extractions and GDPR fields, Locator content requires a full re-index.

Supervisor requires an installation of the Locator platform with connectors to the source systems you want to report on.
Supervisor 2.3 SR1 requires the new Authority Service which is included in Locator 2.11 SR1 and above. The Active Directory authentication system need to be configured upon install/upgrade to Locator.
Limitations
- Internet Explorer is not supported
- Although upgrades are supported the updated Lingo extractors included in Supervisor 2.3 SR1 will not trigger a reindex. If you upgrade from Supervisor 2.2 or below and want to populate data in the new Lingo fields, a reindex must be manually initiated.

Bugs Fixed
- Fixed an issue where existing dashboard widgets don't display new fields added to a report.
- Fixed an issue where Frontend UI doesn't give any warning to user if ReportEngine service is down.
- Fixed an issue where ReportEngine service doesn't start because of NullReferenceException.
- Fixed an issue where UI failed to start due to a misconfigured app domain.
- Fixed an issue where user provisioning adding duplicate user entries. If you already installed 2.3 and already have duplicate users, these duplicates must be removed manually.
- Fixed an issue where UI shows that I'm logged in as admin when I'm not.
- Fixed an issue where uploading of resources is only run on initial startup.
Improvements
- Introduced _stderr.log and _stdout.log files for ReportEngine, Notification, Resource and Scheduler services in Log folder.
- Add 'Fatal' instead of 'Error' log when the service encounters an unrecoverable error for Notification and Scheduler service.
