Released Versions

Supported Domino Versions

• We support Domino 8, 9 and 10 platforms, using the latest available Domino clients for the respective major versions.
• The connector uses an API based on version 8 of the Notes client. Thus, version 8 or higher is required to be installed on the Locator server.
• It is also important to install the latest minor version (with all patches included) of the Notes client.  For example, use the 8.5.3 Notes Client and not 8.5.1.

Limitations

None.

Prerequisites

• A license for the Domino Connector.
• The ayfie Locator Server can index an IBM Domino server that is running within the same LAN as the Locator server.
• An index user with read permission to the targeted domino database.

Supported Data Types

The connector supports indexing the following known data types:

• Document
  • Appointment
  • Discussion
  • Email
  • Person
  • Task
• DocumentAttachment

Connector also supports custom data types.

Crawl Methods

Full Crawl: The Domino Connector supports scheduling periodic full scans of the source system.

Incremental Crawl: The Domino Connector supports incremental crawl.

DocumentHandler

The DocumentHandler is required on the clients to open search hits in the Domino.
