When adding a new connection, ViaWorks allows the administrator to enter any name for the connection, even if the same name is given to an existing connection.  This does not cause any problems, but users need to be aware of the behavior of the "Sources" refiner that appears on the search results page when using the ViaWorks web client.

When performing a search that results in "hits" (documents returned from the search) that are from multiple sources where the connection names are identical, the "Sources" refiner will aggregate the hits under a single connection name.  This is true even if the connections, which share the same name, are from different connectors (e.g. File Server, Exchange, SharePoint).
