IMPORTANT: Due to lack of a test instance the connector was released to beta feeds.

Prerequisites

All API requests require an application key pre-registered with Mimecast. Furthermore, in order to successfully make requests the logged in user must be a Mimecast administrator with the following permissions:

  •  Directories | Groups | Edit
  •  Directories | Groups | Read
  •  Directories | Internal | Read
  •  Archive | Search | Read
  •  Archive | Search Content View

Supported Data Types

The connector supports indexing the following data types:

  • Groups
  • Users
  • Messages

Crawl Methods

Full Crawl: The Mimecast Connector supports scheduling periodic full scans of the source system.

Incremental Crawl: Incremental crawl supported for Messages.

DocumentHandler

Not required.
