DocuShare Connector: Security

Authentication and Identification

The connector relies on the default Locator Active Directory Authentication Plugin for authentication and DocuShare Identification Plugin to get the users' groups from DocuShare. The DocuShare Identification Plugin matches the Active Directory username with 'username' column in table 'userinfo_table' in the DocuShare database.

Identification

Scope: 'DocuShare_' + database server + '_' + database

Tokens: The handle_id of the user and the users' groups.

Security

Share Security

Document Security

Scope: 'DocuShare_' + database server + '_' + database

Tokens: The handle_id of the user and the users' groups with reader, writer or manager permission. The handle_id of the document owner also added as a token.
