Jira Connector: Adding a New Connection
Before Jira server content can be indexed, the Jira connector must be provided with the credentials of an account with full read-only privileges on the corresponding Jira server. It is important that the account has full read-only privileges, because then all content on the Jira server will be indexed while ensuring none of the content is changed.
It is highly recommended to create a new, dedicated user on the Jira server that will be used exclusively for indexing data.
