eZ Publish Connector: Installing and upgrading Connector

Initial Connector installation

After your install eZ Publish Connector for the first time you have to copy "Via.Connector.Dbc.EzPublish.Authentication.dll" from "ayfie\Locator\eZPublish" to "ayfie\Locator\Authentication\eZPublish" otherwise users won't see any search hits.

Connector Upgrades

After each connector upgrade you have to copy "Via.Connector.Dbc.EzPublish.Authentication.dll" from "ayfie\Locator\eZPublish" to "ayfie\Locator\Authentication\eZPublish" otherwise you will be using old version of the Security Plugin.

Upgrading from version 0.0.1.0

After you upgraded eZ Publish Connector from version 0.0.1.0 you have to, in addition to the instruction from Connector Upgrades, manually update identification_system_id in config.connector_type for eZPublish. You should use identification_system_id from search.identification_system where system_name = "eZPublish".
