Connection Configuration Wizard

 

Setting NameDescription
Connection NameThe name of the connection must be specified here.
LoboDMS Connection StringThe LoboDMS Server Connection String must be specified here.
LoboDMS Service DomainThe Index / Service account domain must be specified here.
LoboDMS Service Account User NameThe Index / Service user name must be specified here.

LoboDMS Service Account Password

The password of the Index / Service user must be specified here.

General Settings Page

On this page you can load and select document categories to be indexed.

Active Directory Settings Page

The AD user is used for an AD look-up, during the user identification when SSO to Locator is enabled.

File Type Page

File Types to Index

Select file types Only the most common file types are included by default.

The file extension to index. The options are:

  • Index all file types (default)
    • This one will by default index ALL files, regardless of the file format
    • For file types associated with the built-in DocFilter content filter, all text content available will be indexed
    • For other file types, only available metadata (like file name and path) will be indexed
  • Index selected file types only
    • Will only index the file types listed in the dialog
  • Exclude selected file types
    • Will index everything - except the file types defined in the list
