Supported DocuShare Versions

  • The DocuShare Connector supports all DocuShare versions with a MS SQL database backend.

Limitations

  • The DocuShare Connector only supports Download links. Opening of search hits in DocuShare application is not supported.
  • Only MS SQL database backend is supported.

Prerequisites

  • A license for the DocuShare Connector.
  • An index user with read permission to the DocuShare database.
  • And index user with read permission to the DocuShare file share.

The connector supports indexing the following data types:

Crawl Methods

Full Crawl: The DocuShare Connector supports scheduling periodic full scans of the source system.

Incremental Crawl: Not implemented.

DocumentHandler

The DocumentHandler is not required.
