Supported Versions

eZ Publish version 3.*, 4.* and 5.* with MySql/MariaDB Database are currently supported.

Prerequisites

  • A license for the eZ Publish Connector.
  • A license for eZ Publish is required.
  • An index user with read access to the WorkSite database.
  • If MariaDB is used as eZ Publish database then it is required to install MariaDB connector from here.
    Important Note: Installed ODBC driver has on default disabled Connection Pooling. This can cause a lot TCP/IP ports to stay in TIME_WAIT state which can cause connection troubles. Therefore it is recommended to follow instructions on this page after you have installed MariaDB connector.

Supported Data Types

The connector supports indexing all data types that are in defined in ezcontentclass table. There is option to select which content should be indexed for each connection.

Crawl Methods

Full Crawl: The eZ Publish Connector supports scheduling periodic full scans of the source system.

Incremental Crawl: The eZ Publish Connector supports incremental crawl.
